Eye Candy for Star Searchers

I generally try not to outright steal other people’s graphics. But the healer picture here is a great reminder of things to come in the month of June. Some of them at least. They forgot the Summer Solstice, which I always celebrate. And there may be some more which I will highlight.

The graphic is a gentle reminder that much about Astrology was gleaned from studying the stars and planets at night. And relating what they saw to the energetics around them. And noticing that certain things happen around the Full Moon that do not happen as often other times. Noticing a planet retrograding its forward momentum night after night. And the difference in how the energy was experienced. You get the picture.

There is another graphic that I am trying to get my hands on that Ben Davidson at Suspicious0bservers used to report. It was an interactive map of the planets in orbit around the sun. He would use it to show the alignments and such that had the potential of affecting the chance of an earthquake. This way you could visually see what was happening in the sky when, say, there was an astrological conjunction or square or the like. For me it was helpful to see the visualization to begin to grok what was happening. I am looking and will eventually find it.

For now, the graphic is just a reminder to pay attention to what you may see in the next month. That is if you happen to live in an area where you can see the sky and it is not obscured by light pollution.
